My daughter is learning to sew on this Singer m2100 machine and it seems like a good fit for beginners. It handles seams and repairs easily and the foot pedal is a dream. The written instructions that came with it were a little intimidating at first for her. But there are online tutorials that she watched and got comfortable with the machine quickly after that. She loves this little machine and is becoming a good sewer fast. This is a good machine for beginners

This Singer M2100 Mechanic Sewing Machine has such easy and well illustrated instructions that I loved. This size sewing machine is just perfect for my small house. I can just set it on my kitchen table and use it and then store it away very easily.

This Singer Mechanical M2100 Sewing Machine is a great starter machine that does a lot! It has thorough instructions that allows you to thread the bobbin and the top easily. It has so many different stitches that you can do whatever you need to do. The foot pedal cord is plenty long as is the power cord. The light is bright enough so that you can see what you are sewing. The reverse button is in a great place so you can start and finish your hems easily. There are 63 different stitches. It’s just a really easy machine to use and does so much more than just a starter machine.
