If you are looking for cutting machine-Get this!!
This is my first Cricut machine and I have to say that I LOVE it!! I have another popular machine and have used that for years but have been thinking about trying out the Cricut and I'm so happy I did. This machine came with bare bones supplies which was not a big deal to me as I have pretty much all the supplies needed. It was very easy to setup and the step by step directions were very clear. The design program could be a bit overwhelming for a newbie but since I have a cutting machine and lots of practice in design programs I found there was plenty of overlap in functions (albeit named differently or press a different button etc.) I'm SUPER impressed with Cricut's speed, and functionality. I was able to make some vinyl designs, print and cut stickers and some inked and cut ornaments. The machine was flawless. The Print and Cut was amazing as I've never been able to get my previous machine to calibrate correctly to allow use of print and cut. One of my favorite features is that you can use the pen for writing and then do the cutting without having to change from blade to pen like my other machine needed. I'm very excited about all the options I have with this machine!! I also have to say that the machine is SOOO Pretty! The Rose Gold lid and accents are beautiful.

Cricut has done it again!
So, I have been a Cricut user for about 2 years now originally starting with the Maker 3. Prior to owning my Cricut I worked in printing using large format plotters for 10+ years and having a little mini cutter was my dream come true! Not only can I cut vinyl, but I can engrave, cut paper, fabric, wood pretty much anything for my DITY projects. Now I loved my maker 3 and always will but boy let me tell you the maker 4 is a speed demon! It absolutely blew my mind just how fast this machine was. Reading about it and actually seeing just how fast its cuts was astonishing. Comparing the maker 3 to the maker 4 there really is no is other difference other than speed, but if your a busy DIY mom like me getting your projects done faster is fantastic. If you have a craft business this would be a game-changer! One down side coming from the maker 3 - they took away the magnet in the storage drawer which is a simple fix but I know myself and plenty of other people loved this little feature. If you’re new to craft and Cricut the maker 4 is definitely the better option. When I bought my 3 it was only the machine and one piece of test vinyl to set up the machine. The maker 4 comes with everything you need to get started and play a variety of samples, a cute mini weeder, and most importantly a cutting mat! I had no clue I even needed a mat when I bought my 3 so I was dead in the water until I bought one! Lastly, the color is absolutely stunning they call it seashell but it’s a such a lovely soft pink color with and almost rose gold lid. Everything about this machine is fantastic! Now, if you have an older maker, explore this is definitely worth the upgrade no questions asked if your considering upgrading from the maker 3 go for it again it’s not much different other than speed but when your creating beautiful designs if your like me the cut time is the worse part!!!
G***er
It's a great machine.
I had a video comparing speeds with my Maker 3 and Maker 4 and it won’t let me post it for some reason, but, I will start this review by saying it is quite a bit faster, almost twice as fast but not quite. During my cut, my new Maker 4 took 3 minutes and 30 seconds, while the Maker 3 took 5 minutes and 23 seconds. They were both started at the exact same time, had the exact same design, measurements, input metrics, and vinyl. They were even on the same brand mat. I had also done a comparison with the smart material, and although again, the cricut maker 4 did cut faster, the times were not as drastically different. So as far as speed goes, the Maker 4 absolutely holds the claim as the fastest Maker machine. A few other things to note, one, to me…the machine is pink. I was kind of expecting more of a cream color, but it’s like a peachy, blush, pink with rose gold accents WHICH I LOVE. I am a huge pink fan, so I am obsessed with the color. It is so adorable. It is a legit cricut, has all the intro materials including a little mini weeding tool. Mine was in the sampler envelope taped to the lid, so don’t just throw that away, or you will miss your little tool. It also comes with some practice smart vinyl, iron on vinyl, and permanent vinyl as well as some cardstock and one black cricut pen. Additionally, you get your power cord, one fine blade (already installed in the machine) and a USB-C cord which is different from the maker three as the cord is a standard USB. If you have any maker 3 accessories, they will all fit the maker 4. All of the blades, including the rotary blades, are compatible. I am telling you, this machine in look, apart from color, is inch for inch identical to the maker 3. There is ONE piece I notice that is different, and that is a small clear plastic piece under the blade unit. That is it. Otherwise, from what I can physically see, the two machines are identical. They use the same materials and accessories, so don’t toss anything out if you are upg

Great cutting machine.
First, I want to mention that I received this product for evaluation. I planned to use the Cricut Maker 4 - Smart Cutting Machine (Seashell) | Digital Content Bundle to make different crafts with materials supported by this machine. I expect that the machine is as described, of good quality, and works well. This product has met all of my expectations, and the quality is great. This machine includes the items listed on the product page but not in the quantities pictured. For the cardstock, there were only two pieces, instead of the nine pictured. For the iron on vinyl, there was only one piece instead of three. The pen was not the model pictured. The enclosed picture shows the materials that I received. Please be advised that additional mats, accessories, pens, and tools are needed to use this machine to its full capabilities. If you just want to cut paper, cardstock, and vinyl, you can buy other models. I have a Cricut Explore, so I have some experience using this type of machine and software. The software is free to download, and the setup is simple. I have Windows 11 and installed the Cricut Maker using the Bluetooth option. Initially, there were some connectivity problems, but they were resolved after doing some updates. The instructions are clear and to the point. Using the software requires some learning and practicing but there are free videos available. Cricut also has a good webpage when help is needed. The machine works great. So, far, I was able to cut paper and vinyl without problems. I also used the "Print then Cut" option to make stickers. For this, I needed to calibrate the Cricut first, and the calibration process was OK. Regarding the digital content, I have not checked it yet, but it is available through the software. I will update if there are problems. Please, be advised that some fonts and images are not free, and you will need to pay for them unless you subscribe to the program. There is a 30-day free trial option, which you may want to try to e

Excellent Product but Not the right color
This machine is way better than the Air 2 that I used for several years before getting this one. I noticed small details don't come up as often when pulling vinyl back before weeding, and even weeding itself seems a lot easier. I have some doubts about the matless option however, as it catches sometimes and makes the desired decal crooked or messed up entirely. The color wasn't what I was expected. I was expecting a rose gold color, based on the images of the product. However, it's more of a light beige with a rose gold top and accent line toward the bottom. The machine itself is amazing overall, so certainly don't let the color bother you, I just thought it was noteworthy, as the images do not match the actual product.
